I've been focusing on biblical foundations for missions. Here are a few more principles I have found to be true:

1. Principle of Going and Sending

Every goer needs a group of senders backing him or her in prayer.

2. Principle of Mobilization

Disciples are mobilized as they identify with those on the mission field. The goal of a mobilizing trip, therefore, is to promote such identification.

3. Principle of Unlimited Opportunity

Opportunities do not equal callings. In today's world, the internet offers unlimited opportunity. The starting place for action is prayer-motivated strategy that unearths the best opportunities.

4. Principle of Local Advantage

National churches are best equipped to reach their own countrymen. They should be equipped to do so.
