A long time ago, I was frustrated about the body of Christ. I was frustrated with the small, super-religious Baptist churches and I was frustrated with the large megachurches.

I asked the Lord about it. And he showed me that churches are like watering holes. The animals need water and they go to watering holes.

Some of the watering holes are not much more than mud puddles. And other watering holes are like lakes. The point is not what the watering hole looks like, but if the animals are able to get water from it.

This perspective helped me to look for what churches are doing right.

Have you ever wrestled with this issue? What have you done?
