2023 was such a full year - so much to debrief! I lost my best friend from college to brain cancer, but gained a granddaughter. We moved from our home of 30 years. I watched my mom slide further into dementia.

So I don't want to rush into 2024 without taking a deeper look at how God has moved in my life. How about you?

Most of us need help reflecting. What worked, and what do we need to learn? At the end of a year, I like to block out a couple of hours to bring out my journal and review it. And then to pray and wrestle through some questions that help me put root issues in perspective.

Over the years, I've helped debrief hundreds of people. I’ve written a number of blog posts. And I’ve written a practical debriefing tool to help people go through that exercise-the"Year-End Debrief Tool.”

A lot of people have used it to help them process their lives and live with greater intentionality in the years to come. As a blog reader of mine, if you’d like a copy of it, just respond in the comment section below and I’ll send you a digital version as a gift. Happy New Year! May it be your best one yet.
