I’ve been fasting for a while now. It's been great - the Lord has spoken to me in a number of different ways and I've seen some breakthroughs - one item in particular I'd been praying for for about 16 years.

Tonight at midnight, Karen, a few guys I love and I will celebrate communion. After that, who knows, maybe a thin soup? I’m told that you need to go easy on your stomach. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about people who eat too much too quick and spend days thereafter dealing with stomach pain.

Some folks think that they could never do a long fast, but I found that after the first week, it was not too difficult. I drank juices and that made it easier along the way.
