Mark Twain said it well, "The two most important days in life are the day you are born and the day you discover the reason why."

Do you know why you were born? What did God have in mind when he knit you together?

The Bible talks about us having a call. A call first to God himself, and then to the good works he has "prepared for us to do." (Eph. 2:10)

Some questions to speed you on your way:

What needs have you encountered that lodge in your heart? For example, are there captives that you want to set free? Why?

What have you heard from God about your life purpose?

Who can help you find it? What conversations with them would help?

If your prayers that the kingdom would come were answered, what would that look like?

 

What degree of commitment do you feel toward the issue?

What would that commitment look like if you expressed it?

Where have you seen God moving, and how can you join him?

When you find that call, then there is this encouragement about what to do with it: "I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Eph. 4:1
