Here are a few more principles I have found to be true:

5. Principle of Stewardship

Every Great Commission investment should seek to maximize the SROI (spiritual return on investment).

6. Principle of Focus

To maximize SROI, focus efforts and measure fruit.

7. Principle of Partnership

Short-term missionaries require long-term workers to ensure discipleship.

8. Principle of Dependence

Dependence results when partnerships fail to evolve and become unbalanced.

9. Principle of Outreach Focus

Churches are called to be outwardly focused. The reality is that most are inwardly focused. Changing a church’s culture requires at least a five year commitment by church leadership and a bold action plan.
